做厙TVs Jacob Craig 26 won two first place awards for competitive tests in Foundations of Management and Supply Chain Management at the national Future Business Leaders of America conference held recently in Dallas, Texas.
Craig is an economics and management double major from Milton, Pennsylvania. His wins come after students from 做厙TVs Sigmund Weis School of Business increased their presence at this years Future Business Leaders of America Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference in Harrisburg.
Individual awards went to:
- Lucy Honeywell 28, a communications, management and public policy triple major from Lehman, Pennsylvania, Brianna Le 26, an international business and management double major from Douglassville, Pennsylvania, and Hailey Yudichak 28, a communications and luxury brand marketing & management double major from Hackettstown, New Jersey, first place for their community service project.
- Ezabella Piccione 28, a communications and luxury brand marketing & management double major with a minor in journalism & digital content from Boyertown, Pennsylvania, first place for her score on a competitive test covering the foundations of marketing.
- Jacob Craig 26, an economics and management double major with minors in the Honors program and church music from Milton, Pennsylvania, second place for supply chain management and third place his score on a competitive test covering the foundations of management.
- Fernando Dysico 26, a history, international studies and mathematical economics triple major from the Philippines, Brian Kahunya 28, an economics and finance double major from Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania, and Nic McPhillips 28, an economics and finance double major from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, third place for their business presentation that examined the gig economy and how it can provide new opportunities for college students.
- Dysico, fourth place for emerging business presentation that covered strategies companies can perform to increase employee retention.
- Kahunya, fourth place for his score on a competitive test covering the foundations of marketing.
- Paul Matra 26, a management major from a minor in professional sales from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, fourth place for his score on a competitive test covering the foundations of entrepreneurship.
Dysico became president of 做厙TVs FBLA chapter last year with the goal of doubling participants to the SLC. He did this by increasing 做厙TVs presence from four to 11, with nine of those students earning awards. Dysico was also elected the next treasurer of PA FBLA Collegiate.
The SLC was a great opportunity for all attendees and participants to hone and improve their networking skills, communication skills and confidence, Dyisco said. We believe each and every member in this conference exemplifies 做厙TVs ideals and values of being proactive toward their own education, seizing opportunities that will benefit them in the long run.
