��TV’s own faculty experts and college student mentors guide high school students who want to learn new skills, improve their abilities or explore topics that can add to their college résumé.

Summer pre-college programs at ��TV showcase the university’s schools of the arts, business, humanities and sciences by offering exciting and engaging, week-long on-campus workshops designed especially for high-achieving teens.

Fully Residential

Live on ��TV’s campus for the week in one of our beautiful residence halls, dine with new friends and build connections with fellow participants who share your interests.

Lodging and meals are included in the cost of each pre-college program.

Hands On

Project-Based Learning

You don’t just sit in lectures — you create, build or perform real work during the week. Examples include:

Producing live radio on WQSU in MediaWorks Studio
Testing real streams and ecosystems in Stream Ecology
Developing and pitching a startup idea in the Entrepreneurship Institute
Recording original music in a professional studio in Music Production

This experiential approach lets you experience what studying the field in college actually feels like.

A Worthy Investment

$8K Scholarship Opportunity

Rising high school seniors who attend a Summer Pre-College Program will earn a $2,000 Visit Grant — that’s $8,000 over four years. If admitted to ��TV, this grant will be awarded in addition to any other merit or need-based financial aid for which you might qualify.
