Yom Kippur
Also known as the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur is the the holiest and most solemn of all days in the Jewish year and the conclusion of the Ten Days of Awe. It is characterized by repentance, fasting and forgiveness. Yom Kippur begins at sundown on September 20 and ends at sundown on September 21.
