In this magnificent musical based on the classic children’s book of the same name, composer Lucy Simon and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marsha Norman spin a magical story of forgiveness, redemption, rebirth and wonder. Winner of three Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards.

The Department of Theatre fills the academic calendar with five main stage productions each year. All of our students, regardless of major or class year, are invited to audition or to serve in a technical capacity.

Tickets are required for main stage season performances. Price categories are:

• Non-SU Student: $10.
  • ÌýPersons who are age 18 or younger or who have valid student identification.
• All others are charged the adult rate: $12.
  • A group of 15 or more is entitled to a 10% discount on tickets for the same event (when tickets are purchased together).

Located in the Degenstein Center Theater lobby, the box office is open Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. during the academic year. It is closed on holidays and during university breaks.Ìý
