
Sean Renner, visiting assistant professor of music technology, has created an uncompromising live performance, with over 130 shows throughout the United States and Canada. Using a combination of instruments, vocals, and live looping and processing, Renner single-handedly brings to life the distinctive vocal styling and electro-soul production that he skillfully manicures on his records.
Patrick Long, dean of the schools of the arts and humanities and professor of music, will perform selections from his extensive Computer Music Theater repertoire — a genre that combines narrative with live electronics and performance-driven multimedia.
