River Hawk Day

River Hawk Day is the premier summer opportunity for new students to explore campus, meet their peers and connect with campus resources — all of which will help students and families/supporters prepare for a successful transition to °µÍøTV in the fall. This year’s River Hawk Day was held on Monday, June 29, 2026.

THE RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Living and Learning on Campus

This is the session to learn and ask questions about what it’s like to live on campus, including tips on packing for and living in a new space with a new roommate. 

THE COMMUTER EXPERIENCE: How To Connect While Commuting
Seibert Hall, Room 108 

Meet other commuter students while you learn what it is like to commute, how to be engaged in campus life and other ways to make your drive smoother. 

11:20 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

FOR FAMILIES: Letting Go & Staying Connected
Degenstein Center Theater

Parents, families and guests will explore the upcoming transition and consider how to prepare to let go and support your student while they are at SU. 

FOR STUDENTS: SU Trivia & Getting Involved on Campus

Participate in SU trivia, snag some swag and hear from a panel of current students about how to get involved on campus.
