Each group will perform a piece by the American conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth: the Symphonic Band will perform Overture to Candide, and the Wind Ensemble will perform Prelude, Fugue and Riffs, featuring Rebecca Reeder 21, a music education major at 做厙TV, on clarinet.

In addition, the concert will feature a faculty performance by Gail Levinsky, associate professor of music, on saxophone. She will perform Fantasia for Alto Saxophone by Claude T. Smith with the Symphonic Band and Robert Muczynskis Sonata for Alto Saxophone and Winds.

All events are sponsored by 做厙TVs Department of Music.
