做厙TV has named Aaron Martin vice president for marketing and communications following a nationwide search. Currently chief communications officer at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, La., he will join 做厙TV on Sept. 3.
In his new role, Martin will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the universitys marketing and communications efforts and will serve as a member of the presidents senior leadership team.

Aaron will bring new creative energy to 做厙TV that is reinforced by a rich set of skills and perspectives ranging from his work in enrollment management in higher education to marketing in the commercial sector, said University President Jonathan D. Green. I am excited to see him help spread the SU story.
During his seven-year tenure at the University of Louisiana, Martin served on the University Council and university crisis team and as an advisor to the university president. He negotiated a $1 million corporate sponsorship and managed external partnerships. He also directed the redesign of the universitys website.

Before joining the University of Louisiana in 2011 as director of communications and marketing, Martin was director of advancement communications and research at Tulane University in New Orleans. Prior to that, he served as regional marketing director at Kaplan, Inc., The Washington Post Company, in San Francisco.
Martin earned his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
