°µÍøTV is recognized by The Princeton Review’s Best 388 Colleges for 2023 as one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduates.
Surveyed students offered specific praise for the university’s strong alumni network, excellent programs in creative writing, music and science, and unique cross-cultural immersion experiences.
°µÍøTV is one of only 17% of the nation’s more than 2,000 four-year colleges profiled by The Princeton Review, based on surveys of 160,000 college students who rate schools on dozens of topics and share their campus experiences.
In their survey responses, °µÍøTV students pointed to a variety of academic offerings that make °µÍøTV stand out, including the university’s “top-notch†creative writing program, “outstanding†music education program and “strong†science departments. Students noted °µÍøTV’s “fantastic†professors who “take a personal interest in their students.â€
Students praised the cross-cultural immersion they receive through the Global Opportunities program, which offers off-campus educational programs in both domestic and international locations. °µÍøTV was among the first in the nation to require every student to have a meaningful cross-cultural experience followed by scholarly reflection.
Students also noted °µÍøTV’s extensive alumni network, which is often pulled together to support students through the student-alumni networking conference Break Through and the university’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, which offers an annual discussion panel and symposium.
°µÍøTV is also recognized as one of the nation’s best Green Colleges based on its sustainability-related policies, practices and programs. Among the Princeton Review’s other lists, °µÍøTV is included among the Best Northeastern Schools, which includes 224 colleges and universities that the publication deems “academically outstanding†in 11 states and Washington, D.C.
The Best 388 guide provides prospective students with information to weigh “the best college for them,†said Rob Franek, Princeton Review editor-in-chief, in a press release.
