Know Your Status Pre- and Post-Break
As most campus residents will be heading away this weekend, SU is offering a limited number of free Covid testing to students, regardless of vaccination status, before departing campus and upon return. Please note that routine weekly testing for unvaccinated students and others requiring testing will continue as scheduled. All testing will take place at the Student Health Center Annex.

Flu Shots for Protection
With winter nearing, so is the possibility of a twindemic collision of Covid-19 and flu season. For everyones health and safety, 做厙TV is offering free flu shots.
Students
The Student Health Center is offering students free flu shots by appointment on Tuesday, Oct. 26, Tuesday, Nov. 2, and Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Degenstein SDR 1-3. Make an appointment .
Faculty and Staff
做厙TV is offering employees free flu shots administered by Geisinger on Friday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Degenstein Campus Center, Meeting Room 1. Make an appointment .
Reminders if Feeling Sick or Symptomatic
Students
If a student becomes sick or is experiencing , they are to immediately mask, return to their room and call the Student Health Center for an appointment at 570-372-4385. You can refer to this for more information.
Student employees must notify a supervisor if they are experiencing symptoms. If students become symptomatic, test positive for Covid-19 or are exposed to another who is symptomatic or positive, the university will require them to quarantine, isolate or go home to reduce the spread to other 做厙TV community members.
Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff experiencing or who have reason to believe they have been exposed to Covid-19 must stay home (i.e., telework if possible or take leave), notify Human Resources by emailing [email protected] or calling 570-372-4024, and follow CDC Guidelines regarding self-monitoring, isolation, quarantine, or any other restrictions or required actions. Supervisors and department heads may send faculty or staff home if employees are experiencing . Employees may return to campus after being fever-free for 24 hours and free of respiratory symptoms.
Employees who become ill because of a Covid infection or need to quarantine as a close contact should use their regular sick leave.
