°µÍøTV’s Enactus team once again advanced to the national Enactus competition in St. Louis, Mo., in May. Enactus, an international organization, promotes entrepreneurial action that improves the lives of others. °µÍøTV earned its spot in St. Louis by winning in the regional competition in Washington, D.C., in March. This was the team’s 12th regional win.
Throughout the year, Enactus completed a number of projects bringing together their business acumen and their desire to serve the campus, local and global communities. Efforts included putting together Spanish-language coloring books to distribute to children in Peru, assisting disabled students at Selinsgrove Area High School grow their Seals’ Café business, holding women’s empowerment panels at a local shelter, and leading a green-efforts initiative on campus. At the competitions, the team shared their work.
