\u2014 it was where she discovered her purpose, developed her\u202fconfidence\u202fand built relationships that continue to shape her life today.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a student, Nalls dove into every opportunity the university\u202foffers, exploring athletics, leadership opportunities and community involvement. She played varsity basketball and competed in track\u202f&amp;\u202ffield, experiences that taught her teamwork, time\u202fmanagement\u202fand perseverance. She also held multiple roles at Charlie\u2019s Coffeehouse, served as a member of the Student Conduct Board, led campus tours, managed finances for the student newspaper, and contributed to the Sigmund Weis School of Business Networking Committee.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c做厙TV encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone,\u201d Nalls says. \u201cEach opportunity made me feel part of something larger than myself and\u202fconnected me with new friends and mentors while helping me apply what I was learning in class to real-world situations.\u201d\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u202fwasn\u2019t\u202flong before she found her professional calling. Initially unsure of her career path, Nalls discovered her passion for business after taking an introductory marketing course taught by <strong>James Brock<\/strong>, then dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI fell in love with it,\u201d she recalls. \u201cDean Brock\u2019s knowledge,\u202fexperience\u202fand engaging teaching style were captivating. I left that class knowing marketing was the right fit for me.\u201d\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nalls credits the close-knit, supportive environment of the Sigmund Weis School of Business for\u202flaying\u202fthe foundation of her career. \u201cThe professors and staff were invested in our success,\u201d she says. \u201cThey made learning both challenging and engaging, and they helped me see how business principles apply to every part of life.\u201d\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, Nalls serves as manager of learning\u202f&amp;\u202ftalent development at The Hershey Company, where she supports the growth of the sales and category management teams.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur goal is to ensure every team member feels supported in their development so they can thrive in their current role and prepare for future opportunities,\u201d she explains. \u201cEach step in my career \u2014 from sales to leadership \u2014 has reinforced my passion for helping others realize and achieve their long-term potential.\u201d\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nalls continues to stay\u202fclosely connected\u202fto 做厙TV, mentoring students and speaking during university initiatives such as the Gates-Mueller Leadership Symposium. She also\u202fparticipates\u202fin the Sigmund Weis School of Business\u202fmentorship program and enjoys collaborating with current interns and alumni colleagues at Hershey.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s important to pay forward the investment that so many people made in me,\u201d she says. \u201cStaying connected to 做厙TV allows me to honor that investment, while continuing to build meaningful relationships. I value every chance I get to return and engage with the campus community.\u201d\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"susqu-magzine-news-post-footer component alignfull\"
